I want you to know that those feelings are valid. After everything you have been through, it is certainly alright to feel these feelings. However, I believe you should get Cal back. Now, Mare, you are probably questioning, why should I get Cal back? You may think, "It's better to leave him with the Silvers since he has already chosen the crown over us. It is obvious where his desires lie." Nevertheless, it will be advantageous for you to get Cal back. If you love the man as much as you say, then you must get him back for the sake of your sanity and heart. Furthermore, you do not want to witness him become destroyed by the throne. You and Cal have been through almost everything together. Mare, you have already experienced so much suffering, and letting Cal go could crush you completely. Plus, bringing Cal back means you will have a better chance of defeating all the Silvers, including the houses after you overthrow Maven. With Cal, you will be able to live the rest of your life with him if you survive this war, of course. I know you can do this. If I were to give awards to a few of the characters from the Harry Potter series the first award I would give would be most wise for Dumbledore. I would give this award to Dumbledore because of the guidance he gives to Harry, the students, and even some of the professors. The next award I would give would be most brave. I would give this award to Ron for being friends with Harry and remaining strong even after fighting Voldemort and almost being expelled countless times. For the smartest student I would give this award to Hermoine because of this line "I should've begun studying ten weeks ago." But actually this is because of Hermione's academic grades being at the top in every class and she has memorized almost every spell she has learned. The final award I would give would be most courageous for Harry Potter because Harry's life has been threatened many times but even in the face of danger or even on the brink of death and even after losing his parents he never gives up. I also believe Harry should share the award for most brave with Ron. I would give Harry this award for always believing in himself and even fighting one on one with the dark lord himself. These would be a few awards I would give to some of the characters from the Harry Potter series.

JQ: Thank you for the opportunity to interview you I'm honored. I just have a few questions for you, are you ready to begin?
PL: Yes I am ready.
JQ: What made you want to own a pigeon and feed it every day?
PL: It all started when the pigeon knocked at my window and wanted to come inside my house. I was skeptical at first but the pigeon was persistent and seemed friendly.
JQ: Why do Beans, Mutto, and Henry call Dorthy Fishface?
PL: They call Dorthy Fishface because they think she looks like a fish.
JQ: How come you named the pigeon Nipper and why did Nipper seem special to you?
PL: I named the pigeon Nipper because every morning he came inside my bedroom and nipped my ear until I woke up. Nipper seemed special to me because he was colorful and friendly.
JQ: In the book, I read that you did not want to become a wringer. How come?
PL: Well, the reason I did not want to become a wringer was that wringers main objective is to “wring” necks and I couldn't handle killing a pigeon when I owned one.
JQ: How about I ask a personal question: what is your favorite color?
PL: My favorite color is grey.
JQ: Do you like being in the gang with Beans, Mutto, and Henry?
PL: No, I do not like being in the gang because the gang is rude and dirty. My mom also tells me to try to stay away from them.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione need vacations after all the work they have done, defeating monsters and being students at Hogwarts. Harry Potter, the main protagonist in this story, would like to go to Hawaii because it is stress free and is a nice place to relax and recharge your energy. Harry can swim with sea life such as turtles, dolphins, fish and other sea creatures. Harry can also swim in the coral reefs, visit the volcanoes and have a great time. Harry can also try the food Hawaii has to offer like fish tacos, garlic shrimp, and shaved ice. Ron, a close friend of Harry Potter, would like to go to Costa Rica. Costa Rica would be good for Ron because there are many fun things to do. Fun things to do in Costa rica include, zipline, ride an atv, and visit the exotic rainforests. Ron could also relax by going to the beach to get more energy to do even more fun things in Costa Rica. Hermoine, another friend of Harry Potter, would like to go to the Library of Alexandria. Hermione would go there to learn about the culture and reach many books and ancient artifacts to help her with her education at Hogwarts. Hermione can also try famous Egyptian foods such as kushari, besarah, and fatta. Hermione could also visit Cairo, a city in Egypt that is a famous tourist attraction. Hermione can also visit the Nile River, which is the longest river in the world. In conclusion. These are the vacations Harry, Ron, and Hermione would like to go on.

My name is Sergeant Shane Chufo, U.S. Army 5th Ranger Battalion D-Company
June 6th, 1944
Dear Diary,
0600 hrs. I loaded onto the landing craft which was headed to Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. I was extremely nervous and afraid of the invasion. D-Day Operation Overlord. 0710 hrs. The landing craft gate dropped. I was taking fire from the Germans on the beach while exiting the landing craft into shoulder-high water. 0740 hrs. I finally made it to the beach, but only half of the 40 men on the landing craft made it. The others died in combat. 0920 hrs. I grouped up with other American soldiers. We fought our way across the beach to the base of the cliff where the German machine-gun nests were shooting down on us. 1500 hrs. I have been fighting for eight hours now and realize that for every one yard of beach we gained, one soldier was killed. There have been 2,400 casualties in this battle so far. 1735 hrs. We fought our way up the side of the cliffs and started to engage the Germans in the cement fortified bunkers on top. 2115 hrs. We defeated the Germans in the bunkers. Then I helped set up the perimeter, ate my supper M.R.E’s, and tried to close my eyes before we linked up with the other divisions. I am so thankful that I am alive after this frightening day. I will remember this day all my life and keep the fallen soldiers in my heart and prayers. I thank God for his protection and blessings.

Colin Gorospe Language Arts November 19, 2021 Prompt #12 Blog #2 I am reading The Red Bandanna by Tom Rinaldi. The Red Bandanna is a real story about Welles Crowther, an ordinary kid who dreamt of being a firefighter. The first person I would like Welles to meet is Jack Prichard. Jack Pritchard is the most decorated firefighter in FDNY history. Pritchard saved countless lives while serving as a firefighter. I would want Welles to meet him because A. Pritchard is the most decorated firefighter in his department and B. could give Welles useful advice on being a firefighter as well as inspiring him a bit. The second person I’d have him meet is Todd Beamer. Todd Beamer is well known for his most famous phrase “Are you guys ready? Okay. Let’s roll.” when he led the other passengers of Flight 93 to stop the terrorists from crashing the plane into Washington D.C. saving many innocent lives from harm. I would like Welles to meet beamer because like Beamer, Welles saved many lives when terrorists attacked on 9/11 so both were heroes to the people they saved. The third and last person I’d have Welles meet is Rick Rescorla. Rick Rescorla was a retired Army officer who worked in the World Trade Center when 9/11 occurred. Rick led an estimated 2,700 of his employees to safety before the towers collapsed. In conclusion, I’d have these three people meet Welles because they were heroes who inspired many and saved countless lives.
Dear Castle, It sounds like life is pretty difficult for you since it’s just you and your mom. Although I’m sure that it is hard to only have one parent, I have heard that your mom is a good mom. She always has a meal prepared for you, and she works hard to put a roof over your head. I hope this doesn’t sound too preachy, but you should be thankful for her. Especially, because it’s Thanksgiving and some people do not have a roof over their head, or a meal, or a mom. I have also heard that there is a bully at your school who makes fun of your name. I know how you feel because sometimes, my friends make fun of my name because it’s Gabriel (GAY-briel) and that makes me feel sad. You should just ignore him because Brandon the bully is just trying to get a reaction from you. Also, if you think or hear them talking about you, just try hard to not care what people say about you. I suggest when Brandon cuts in front of you, you should just cut in front of him. I think it was a good idea when you joined the track team. I suggest that you pursue your dream and join a basketball team. It is always cool to fulfill your dreams. Don’t worry if you feel insecure that you’re not that good of a basketball player. There’s always time to get better. I will tell you a secret, when I first started playing football I was bad, but then I practiced and got better. Anyways, I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Erik Verse Everything blog This blog will be about the meaning of each main character in the book Erik Versus Everything. First character is named Erik who is the main character and is part of a Viking family. His name means “eternal ruler” or “ruler of all” . This is ironic because in the story he is shy and always feels embarrassed. His sister and cousin's main job in the story is for them to find out his “phobias” and refine him from it. The next character we will talk about is Brunhilde which means “battle maiden” or “glow of life”. This relates to her because first she likes to throw axes and is always up for anything. The other reason would be that she cares for her brother and wants to help him with his fears. Next coming along is Ragnar which means “warrior” or “judgement”. This describes him well because he always wants to fight or rough house, and is a boxer unlike Erik. He also judges a lot Erik does and tests his fears to hope Erik will overcome the fears he has. These characters have a lot to overcome to help Erik with his phobias.

So here are some books I would recommend for him to watch. The first movie I would tell him to watch is Hercules. Hercules is a movie starring Dwayne Johnson. It’s a movie about the legend of Hercules. It shows him join an army but then have to defeat the army he trained because they were really the bad guys. The next movie Percy Jackson would like is Hercules the Disney movie. It’s not like the other Hercules, it's a Disney cartoon. If my character went on a vacation I think he would want to go to a San Francisco Giants baseball game. The San Francisco Giants stadium is one of the best in the world. TheSan Francisco Giants stadium is like a Castle in a Disney movie.I think my character First I would go walk around the San Francisco Bay by the Golden gate Bridge , then he would get some food at the concession stand watching the baseball players warm up then watch the game. The names I chose to define are Gimli, Sam, and Aragorn. The name Gimli is derived from the old Norse Gimm, meaning "fire". Sam means “told by God” or “God hears” and possesses a Hebrew origin. Aragorn is derived from English, and Sindarin, the language of Middle-Earth. When derived from English, it means “Royal Zeal”, but, when derived from Sindarin, it means “noble valor”.
I believe Gimli’s name fits him perfectly because he is depicted as very large and shown with that description in the Lord of the Rings movies, and since fire can get to a massive height, Gimli is like fire. Gimli also has a fiery spirit and acts somewhat of a leader, also contributing to the fact that he is like fire. I believe that Sam is somewhat like what his name means because he is like the ears of the company and helps Frodo with being the ears. Sam always would hear the enemy first and overheard Frodo’s journey away from the Shire after Frodo’s birthday party, making Sam be a last-minute addition to the company. Finally, I believe Aragorn’s name fits him amazingly well because Aragorn is noble in the sense that he has always contributed to the fights with the Orcs that killed his friend. Aragorn is always fighting for what he thinks is right and never gives up on what he is trying to accomplish, even if he is tired of the task that was assigned to him.
Hello Harry, you don’t know me, but my name is Cooper. I was finally able to gather enough courage to send you this letter. I’m hoping this letter gets to you and that you’ll get back to me. I am writing this letter to give you words of encouragement. I have heard that many bad things have been happening to you and others at Hogwarts. It makes me sad to know you and many others have to go through such horrible things, and that’s why I’ll be encouraging you with this letter. I heard about your parents dying to Voldemort, saving you from him by sacrificing themselves. How many people are excited to see you at Hogwarts and some who despised you from the day you got to Hogwarts. But I’m here to say that you can make it through all of that. Naruto is a very energetic, curious, goofy and hard working. I believe that if Naruto were to go on a vacation he would want to go to the worlds best rawmen resturant. Naruto loves rawmen and once he arrives to the rawmen shop he would challenge people to a eating competition. Once Naruto finishes his eating competitions he will order plenty more and invite his friends over. After him and his friends finish eating all of their rawmennthey would be so full they can't move. Percy means primarily a male name of French origin that means Pierce Valley diminutive form of Percival. Percy Jackson's traits are he is a brave 6th grader he is also friendly and willing to risk his life to save someone else's. Grover's traits are he is brave when he has to be brave. Annabeth traits are she is strong, brave, intelligent, and resourceful because she is good at using her resources.

Names are something many would use for life and some of these can describe the owner of said name. In the book I'm reading, Life Behind the Wall. The first of the three main characters is named Erich meaning,”ever ruler” which fits because he tends to be the one to take action without instruction from other people and likes to take matters into his own hands if others refuse to do it. The second of the three main characters is named Sabine meaning,”Curious and impulsive” This fits her well because she accidentally found a bunker that later helps her get free, has spoken many times without thinking first, and has found herself in trouble or dangerous situations multiple times because of this . The third of the three main characters is named Liesl with her name meaning,”God is my oath.” This fits Liesl well due to her faith in God and her willingness to spread the faith to others shown in when she tries to read the bible for help and the time she smuggled bibles to the other side of berlin. Wolfgang is a side character yet important to the series with his name meaning,”Wolf of victory.” which fits him really well because he always tried to win and was very competitive and territorial, not caring for those around him, only using them for his advantage. In the end, there are some unique names in the book Life Behind the Wall.

To starts the first book i think max would like is The Outsiders because it is sortove dispersing when some of the charterers die and max is very depressing all the time and also they get picked on for being poor and max also got picked on for being big. The second book that he would like is The Christmas carryall he would like this book because when his friend and him did there adventuresses they were during Christmas and that's when his friend dyed so it would bring back memoirs about what they did. Harry, Ron, and Hermione need vacations after all the work they have done, defeating monsters and being students at Hogwarts. Harry Potter, the main protagonist in this story, would like to go to Hawaii because it is stress free and is a nice place to relax and recharge your energy. Harry can swim with sea life such as turtles, dolphins, fish and other sea creatures. Harry can also swim in the coral reefs, visit the volcanoes and have a great time. Harry can also try the food Hawaii has to offer like fish tacos, garlic shrimp, and shaved ice. Ron, a close friend of Harry Potter, would like to go to Costa Rica. Costa Rica would be good for Ron because there are many fun things to do. Fun things to do in Costa rica include, zipline, ride an atv, and visit the exotic rainforests. Ron could also relax by going to the beach to get more energy to do even more fun things in Costa Rica. Hermoine, another friend of Harry Potter, would like to go to the Library of Alexandria. Hermione would go there to learn about the culture and reach many books and ancient artifacts to help her with her education at Hogwarts. Hermione can also try famous Egyptian foods such as kushari, besarah, and fatta. Hermione could also visit Cairo, a city in Egypt that is a famous tourist attraction. Hermione can also visit the Nile River, which is the longest river in the world. In conclusion. These are the vacations Harry, Ron, and Hermione would like to go on.

Dear Diary,
0600 hrs.
I loaded onto the landing craft which was headed to Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. I was extremely nervous and afraid of the invasion. D-Day Operation Overlord.
0710 hrs.
The landing craft gate dropped. I was taking fire from the Germans on the beach while exiting the landing craft into shoulder-high water.
0740 hrs.
I finally made it to the beach, but only half of the 40 men on the landing craft made it. The others died in combat.
0920 hrs.
I grouped up with other American soldiers. We fought our way across the beach to the base of the cliff where the German machine-gun nests were shooting down on us.
1500 hrs.
I have been fighting for eight hours now and realize that for every one yard of beach we gained, one soldier was killed. There have been 2,400 casualties in this battle so far.
1735 hrs.
We fought our way up the side of the cliffs and started to engage the Germans in the cement fortified bunkers on top.
2115 hrs.
We defeated the Germans in the bunkers. Then I helped set up the perimeter, ate my supper M.R.E’s, and tried to close my eyes before we linked up with the other divisions.
I am so thankful that I am alive after this frightening day. I will remember this day all my life and keep the fallen soldiers in my heart and prayers. I thank God for his protection and blessings.
I will write again tomorrow. May God Bless us all!

I am reading The Red Bandanna by Tom Rinaldi. The Red Bandanna is a real story about Welles Crowther, an ordinary kid who dreamt of being a firefighter. The first person I would like Welles to meet is Jack Prichard. Jack Pritchard is the most decorated firefighter in FDNY history. Pritchard saved countless lives while serving as a firefighter. I would want Welles to meet him because A. Pritchard is the most decorated firefighter in his department and B. could give Welles useful advice on being a firefighter as well as inspiring him a bit. The second person I’d have him meet is Todd Beamer. Todd Beamer is well known for his most famous phrase “Are you guys ready? Okay. Let’s roll.” when he led the other passengers of Flight 93 to stop the terrorists from crashing the plane into Washington D.C. saving many innocent lives from harm. I would like Welles to meet beamer because like Beamer, Welles saved many lives when terrorists attacked on 9/11 so both were heroes to the people they saved. The third and last person I’d have Welles meet is Rick Rescorla. Rick Rescorla was a retired Army officer who worked in the World Trade Center when 9/11 occurred. Rick led an estimated 2,700 of his employees to safety before the towers collapsed. In conclusion, I’d have these three people meet Welles because they were heroes who inspired many and saved countless lives.

Dear Castle,
It sounds like life is pretty difficult for you since it’s just you and your mom. Although I’m sure that it is hard to only have one parent, I have heard that your mom is a good mom. She always has a meal prepared for you, and she works hard to put a roof over your head. I hope this doesn’t sound too preachy, but you should be thankful for her. Especially, because it’s Thanksgiving and some people do not have a roof over their head, or a meal, or a mom.
I have also heard that there is a bully at your school who makes fun of your name. I know how you feel because sometimes, my friends make fun of my name because it’s Gabriel (GAY-briel) and that makes me feel sad. You should just ignore him because Brandon the bully is just trying to get a reaction from you. Also, if you think or hear them talking about you, just try hard to not care what people say about you. I suggest when Brandon cuts in front of you, you should just cut in front of him. I think it was a good idea when you joined the track team. I suggest that you pursue your dream and join a basketball team. It is always cool to fulfill your dreams. Don’t worry if you feel insecure that you’re not that good of a basketball player. There’s always time to get better. I will tell you a secret, when I first started playing football I was bad, but then I practiced and got better.

This blog will be about the meaning of each main character in the book Erik Versus Everything. First character is named Erik who is the main character and is part of a Viking family. His name means “eternal ruler” or “ruler of all” . This is ironic because in the story he is shy and always feels embarrassed. His sister and cousin's main job in the story is for them to find out his “phobias” and refine him from it. The next character we will talk about is Brunhilde which means “battle maiden” or “glow of life”. This relates to her because first she likes to throw axes and is always up for anything. The other reason would be that she cares for her brother and wants to help him with his fears. Next coming along is Ragnar which means “warrior” or “judgement”. This describes him well because he always wants to fight or rough house, and is a boxer unlike Erik. He also judges a lot Erik does and tests his fears to hope Erik will overcome the fears he has. These characters have a lot to overcome to help Erik with his phobias.

If my character went on a vacation I think he would want to go to a San Francisco Giants baseball game. The San Francisco Giants stadium is one of the best in the world. TheSan Francisco Giants stadium is like a Castle in a Disney movie.I think my character First I would go walk around the San Francisco Bay by the Golden gate Bridge , then he would get some food at the concession stand watching the baseball players warm up then watch the game. So first he was listening to the national a anthem then he would watch the first inning send the second and the third fourth fifth and sixth, then he will do the seventh-inning stretch get some ice cream and watch the seventh and eighth .then after the game he would walk around the bay either being happy or sad that his team won or lost or walk around telling his friends how his team played terrible or his team played good. He said all I hear is the baseball game going on and on. he says I'd rather be at the baseball game than here. This is why I think my character wants to go to the Giants baseball game in San Francisco.

Today was pretty good. I didn’t get my cat ears wet and it was fun hanging out with Tabatha. Emily hasn’t been hanging out with us recently because of her new crush Patrick. They talk every day and she’s always hanging out with her soccer girls, so she never really talks to me and Emily anymore. French class was boring as usual, but the tech crew is getting way more fun, especially with Sherm. He and I have gotten to be good friends, and we go to the diner together. Since the girls don't really talk to me anymore, I’ve decided to try to find new girl friends. I don't have very high expectations because most girls always have drama or would rather be alone. The names I chose to define are Gimli, Sam, and Aragorn. The name Gimli is derived from the old Norse Gimm, meaning "fire". Sam means “told by God” or “God hears” and possesses a Hebrew origin. Aragorn is derived from English, and Sindarin, the language of Middle-Earth. When derived from English, it means “Royal Zeal”, but, when derived from Sindarin, it means “noble valor”.
I believe Gimli’s name fits him perfectly because he is depicted as very large and shown with that description in the Lord of the Rings movies, and since fire can get to a massive height, Gimli is like fire. Gimli also has a fiery spirit and acts somewhat of a leader, also contributing to the fact that he is like fire. I believe that Sam is somewhat like what his name means because he is like the ears of the company and helps Frodo with being the ears. Sam always would hear the enemy first and overheard Frodo’s journey away from the Shire after Frodo’s birthday party, making Sam be a last-minute addition to the company. Finally, I believe Aragorn’s name fits him amazingly well because Aragorn is noble in the sense that he has always contributed to the fights with the Orcs that killed his friend. Aragorn is always fighting for what he thinks is right and never gives up on what he is trying to accomplish, even if he is tired of the task that was assigned to him.

Dear Harry Potter,
Hello Harry, you don’t know me, but my name is Cooper. I was finally able to gather enough courage to send you this letter. I’m hoping this letter gets to you and that you’ll get back to me. I am writing this letter to give you words of encouragement. I have heard that many bad things have been happening to you and others at Hogwarts. It makes me sad to know you and many others have to go through such horrible things, and that’s why I’ll be encouraging you with this letter. I heard about your parents dying to Voldemort, saving you from him by sacrificing themselves. How many people are excited to see you at Hogwarts and some who despised you from the day you got to Hogwarts. But I’m here to say that you can make it through all of that. You’re the chosen one, destined to kill Voldemort. The boy who survived Voldemort as a mere child. Don’t be afraid of the other people at Hogwarts who make fun of you or laugh at you. Don’t focus on them, focus on getting better at magic, better grades, making more friends! Your aunt and uncle who treated you like garbage may have raised you but they were and never will be as special as your parents. Naruto loves rawmen and once he arrives to the rawmen shop he would challenge people to a eating competition. Once Naruto finishes his eating competitions he will order plenty more and invite his friends over. After him and his friends finish eating all of their rawmennthey would be so full they can't move. The next day they would eat more rawmen and explore the restaurant, after Naruto and his friends from the hidden leaf village finish exploring they will find a place in the restaurant to train. After they finish training they will got to the kitchen of the restaurant and learn how to make the world's best rawmen so they can serve it to the people in their village. While still at the rawmen restaurant they would pay for all the peoples meals and teach them new jutsu.

All people have names, but not all people know what their name means. Names are something many would use for life and some of these can describe the owner of said name. In the book I'm reading, Life Behind the Wall. The first of the three main characters is named Erich meaning,”ever ruler” which fits because he tends to be the one to take action without instruction from other people and likes to take matters into his own hands if others refuse to do it. The second of the three main characters is named Sabine meaning,”Curious and impulsive” This fits her well because she accidentally found a bunker that later helps her get free, has spoken many times without thinking first, and has found herself in trouble or dangerous situations multiple times because of this . The third of the three main characters is named Liesl with her name meaning,”God is my oath.” This fits Liesl well due to her faith in God and her willingness to spread the faith to others shown in when she tries to read the bible for help and the time she smuggled bibles to the other side of berlin. Wolfgang is a side character yet important to the series with his name meaning,”Wolf of victory.” which fits him really well because he always tried to win and was very competitive and territorial, not caring for those around him, only using them for his advantage. In the end, there are some unique names in the book Life Behind the Wall.

To starts the first book i think max would like is The Outsiders because it is sortove dispersing when some of the charterers die and max is very depressing all the time and also they get picked on for being poor and max also got picked on for being big. The second book that he would like is The Christmas carryall he would like this book because when his friend and him did there adventuresses they were during Christmas and that's when his friend dyed so it would bring back memoirs about what they did. The third book is Holes because they liked to explore and drift off to places and try to find things such as a girls ours in the trainee this book max would love to read.
